Early last year, I and a number of other complainants wrote to the Solicitors' Regulation Authority (SRA) - part of the Law Society - regarding certain alleged actions taken by Edward Smethurst. I published on CMOMM the result of the court judgment in favour of J P Whitter, Waterwell Engineers (kindly sent to me by Sally Whitter), who had not been paid for extensive waterwell drilling on Smethurt's land in Ashworth Valley, Rochdale.
