We all remember that Gerry McCann gave a speech at the 2007 Police Bravery Awards at the Dorchester. These awards were backed by the Sun and not surprisingly Rebekah Brooks was present. Even Prince Charles was there as well! The Mirror have suggested that Neil Wallis set up the Annual Police Bravery Awards when he worked for the Sun (pre 2003). Was Gerry there as a guest of the Police or as a guest of the PR and press people? Neil Wallis and the Murdoch Squad: Mr Wallis, a former ...

Summers and Swan reply to criticisms of their book - and explain the David Payne/Kate McCann 6.30pm visit contradictions One of the most unfair criticisms of our definitive book, ‘Looking for Madeleine’, is the complaint from the haters that we have not analysed all the so-called ‘contradictions’ and ‘changes of story’ of the Tapas 9 that seem to have multiplied in the haters’ minds. As we’ve said many times in our book, there are no significant inconsistencies - not one.    To prove ...

With talk in the media that many people wished they'd voted 'Remain' and vice versa, and are saying we should have a second referendum, I just wondered if anyone here now wish they'd voted differently in hindsight.

If you wish you'd voted differently, why do you feel that way now?

Interesting she did a bit of a Q&A session today.

What I did notice she seemed to refer to Corrie's dating site use in the past tense.  But still talked about him in the present.

JUST MY OPINION - She knows or suspects he's gone AWOL with some girl/bloke he's met online.  The limited CCTV of him gave me the impression he was waiting for someone.

Firstly let us look the status quo of the Royal Ulster Constabulary, later to be renamed Police Service Northern Ireland (RUC/PSNI) under the command of Jim Gamble's boss, Ronnie Flanagan. and prior to that, under Chief Constable Sir Hugh Orde. Much that we learn is directly due to the damning report of the Police ...
