Looking back, this was one article that, 7 years ago, helped to influence my thinking on what really happened to Madeleine McCann. I would quibble with none or two minor interpretations by Reis, but generally this very well-researched article covered many very significant areas in the case.

I'm sure we had a thread on this before, but I can't find it.
Although virtually everybody knows who 'PJS' is, although we are not allowed to disclose it publicly, I am struggling to understand why the Sun have been made to settle a claim for damages, when they have never actually named him.
It is not their fault that he has been named in Scotland and around the world.

I have been reading up on this case due to it's prominence in the news lately. I believe that rapists should feel the full weight of the law, but this case makes me very uneasy. I think that Evans has nothing to be proud of, and he may have committed the crime as defined in law, but is that definition realistic?
